●• What is the difference between infertility and sterility?
Sterility is when a couple tried to get pregnant by natural means but failed. Infertility is when a pregnancy is not full to term.
●• If I had some procedures done to not get pregnant, can I still get pregnant in the future?
Yes you can, in fact, we recommend an In vitro fertilization.
●• What is the difference between artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization?
These two procedures are assisted reproduction and need ovarian stimulation. The first one has low complexity, but both need follicular post-ultrasound and ovulation induction. The fist technique has a lower complexity prescribed for tubal patency and semen sample. This sample was previously processed at intrauterine level. The second option has a greater complexity, a higher doses of ovary stimulation, and two embryos are introduced that were previously processed in the laboratory. This technique has a greater percentage of success.
●• Will I feel pain during the procedure?
No it isn´t, however they might have side effects
●• I have endometriosis can I get pregnant?
This condition is related to patients with infertility, however, this is not a decisive factor or cause.
●• I have more than a year trying to have a baby, is there a test so I can know the reasons?
On infertility test, its important to evaluate every aspect including: hormones, metabolism, structure and anatomy of the woman, tubal patency, ovarian factor, as well as run these test on the male.

Nowadays age is not an important factor to get pregnant, we have techniques to make this happened, however, we need to check the ovarian reserve.

Yes, you can, there is a preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and you not only know the gender but main chromosome conditions.
●• I will like to know the process of eggs freezing since I don’t want to get pregnant right now?
We use drugs for follicular growth in both ovaries, then using an ultrasound, we check the growth, and then we perform a follicular aspiration under anesthesia. Once we have the eggs, we freeze and store them in the lab, ready to be used.
●• If my husband had a vasectomy is there a chance of getting pregnant?
We will perform a testicular biopsy by aspiration or open to determine sperm presence and then we perform the fertility procedure.
