INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION

Indicated for young women with permeable Fallopian tubes and for couples with unexplained infertility.
Couples in which the man presents mild to moderate alterations in the quality and/or quantity of sperm, and couples in which the woman has cervical alterations that prevent sperm from passing from the vagina into the female reproductive system.
The objective of this technique is to increase the chances of pregnancy by raising the number of eggs ready to be fertilized and shortening the path of the sperm to the egg.
